Poem: iridescence

Written for Twitter's
#VSS365 Prompt:
Iridescence

i looked
into your eyes
felt so good,
got hypnotized.

they have gone
from dark
to light
this #iridescence
is a gift
from you to i

lost and dazed
i long for you
for your embrace
to set the mood.

and on cue
you spread your arms
i let you have
me
to be safe
 from harm.

Poem: aesthetic

Written for Twitter's
#VSS365 Prompt:
Aesthetic

the creepy monk
is the #aesthetic
of my second work

i chose that theme
to describe
the dark side of me

where the main idea
of the collection
was my uncanny
mental condition

there were also
references to
Catholicism
and my American
patriotism

the work was
divided into
mysteries
just like those
of a rosary's

this red book
is available
from Amazon or
Barnes and Noble.

3.  Add the chicken to the mixture in the bowl and make sure they are well-coated with the mixture.  Turn chicken pieces in the bowl over and over like you're marinating before a barbecue.

4.  When ready to cook, add chicken and marinade to a baking dish in a single layer. Bake chicken in a 425-degrees oven for 45 minutes. Cook until internal temperature of chicken reads 165-degrees F.

And here is the end result straight from the oven!
