Jamz’ Talks:
I found
this book to be quite an easy read and one that is riveting and
passionate. I especially enjoyed the
character of Jamie Sullivan who is a nice, Bible-touting girl so naïve and yet
also smart and sadly on the way to an inevitable fate. I also found the character of Landon Carter
to be fascinating because this book came out recently and yet its themes and
plot were spiritual. To have a
bestselling author like Nicholas Sparks come up with such a story is a rare thing indeed. I mean, in a time where such
topics are frowned upon, this novel defies that. I think the lesson here that this book taught
me as a reader was: “eternal love.” That no matter what happens to a relationship
of romance and/or love, if you truly love someone, you will never forget about
him or her no matter what and that the memories you share(d) will live on. I gave this wonderful book 5 stars on
Goodreads because it deserves that and because it was downright relatable. Thank you and have a great and cozy winter
day!
Best regards,
me
